Playground Safety
Children should be
supervised at all times
Playground equipment should
be inspected often
Surfaces under and around
the play equipment should be resilient enough to offer proper impact absorption
Make sure there are no
spaces small enough where a child's limb could get stuck
There should be sufficient
space between the different apparatus to prevent children from colliding
Make sure there are no sharp
points or hooks on the equipment which could injure a child
Children should only use
equipment which is appropriate for their age group
Children should not wear
loose clothing and/or coats/sweatshirts with strings and toggles which could
become caught on playground equipment
